The Network of Public Sector Communicators

Internal communications workshop

Leaders frequently claim their people are their most important audience, however internal communications can be PR's poor relation.

Effective internal communication is a critical organisation development and management function. It can influence attitudes and behaviours, shape organisations' culture, reputation and ultimately performance.

In a rapidly changing environment, raised expectations and fiscal constraint, what role does internal communications take? What internal alliances and strategies can be developed to ensure our work is effective and seen to add public value? How will we know we are successful?

Our dynamic workshop leaders will introduce you to internal communications theory and take you on a journey of discovery. Their case studies offer different perspectives, different constraints but the same outcome - shaping organisational culture. Join them on 24 June and let them share useful tips and tools, work in small groups on a range of exercises and all small group learnings will be shared in an interactive conclusion.
