No matter how you felt about it, there was no escaping New Zealand's flag debate.

As Director of the Flag Consideration Project with the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, Kylie Archer managed the Secretariat for the independent Flag Consideration Panel. The Panel's neutral public engagement programme informed kiwis, supported a robust conversation about identity and encouraged voting in record numbers.

Kylie will share highlights, challenges and learnings from this fascinating project.
